Poverty Should Not Start With A Period

This NYC city-wide campaign launched in the spring of 2023, focused on raising critical funds to assemble and distribute hygiene kits to women and girls facing poverty in New York City. The kits contain essential items such as pads, tampons, panty liners, diapers, deodorant, and soap.

At the heart of Women to Women campaign was a message that drew attention to the unique challenges faced by women when dealing with the added expense of hygienic products. The campaign slogan, "Poverty Should Not Start with a Period," captured the urgency of the issue and helped to mobilize support for this important cause.
