KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) wanted to show their donors and advocates not only how they survived 2021 but how they thrived and what better way to do that than to create a beautiful printed annual report?

Our team was tasked with creating the initial concepts for the 2021 KIND Annual Report which we did by taking the existing KIND brand architecture and evolving it to look crisp, compelling, and current. After presenting our initial concepts we moved to formally layout the over 30 page report using visual storytelling that will keep readers engaged while also calling out key facts about the year. We achieved that by using simple typography principles and a bit of an unusual layout design approach. Additionally, our idea was to allow strong photography to delivers most of the story while we supported it with minimalistic infographic elements and clean full color backgrounds.

At the end of the process we color matched the full report to ensure all colors within the report was crisp.

We could not be happier with the report.
