Our Approach
Organizing years of previous research papers, at-home learning exercises, archives of exhibitions, and custom science apps was no small task however we had a clear goal from the beginning of the project, to make the new NYSCI.org website easy for visitors to navigate and find information.
At the beginning of any large project with multiple stakeholders, we make it a requirement to define the goals of a website upfront which help guide decision-making throughout the project.
The Final Product
After several months of content organization, team stakeholder meetings and visual design research, we created a website which resembles the idea that NYSCI is much more than a museum, it is a unique experience. We implemented refreshed visuals, completely new and simplified user experience and user interface. As a result came up with a website that is engaging, easy to navigate and adjusts perfectly to a huge number of digital devices in use nowadays.
The Results
The NYSCI team could not be happier with the results of the new NYSCI.org website, not only is the website easy for visitors to navigate (which subsequently lead to a jump in ticket sales) but it's easy to update from the the Craft.cms content management system and hosts a full easy to understand and search database of at-home learning resources.
