Food Bank for NYC - Women to Women '24

Creative storytelling campaign elevating women facing the period tax

In the spring of 2024, we developed "Women to Women," a NYC city-wide campaign on behalf of the Food Bank, focusing on raising crucial funds for women and girls facing poverty in New York City. Women face an inordinate amount of fees compared to men, including essential items such as pads, tampons, panty liners, diapers, deodorant, and soap, known as the Period Tax. Central to the Women to Women campaign was a message that highlighted the unique challenges women face due to these additional costs. This year's Women to Women campaign focused on supporting the whole woman.
